At Suburban Primary Care, our board certified physicians and NP/PA specialize in General Internal Medicine - the primary care of adults over the age of 18 years old. They are specially trained to provide comprehensive health examinations, focused on disease prevention, promotion of health, as well as effective treatment of all problems and illnesses.
Our Internal Medicine Physicians focus help adults stay healthy with annual check-ups, early detection of disease processes, unscheduled "sick visits", health and medication monitoring, preventive health screenings and much more. In addition to providing primary care to our patients, our physicians coordinate the care their patients receive from other medical specialists to help manage diagnostic problems and to treat and coordinate complicated health issues.
At Suburban Primary Care, we also participate in caring for elderly and chronically ill patients in several long-term care and rehabilitation facilities located throughout the local area.
Some common conditions we treat include:
It is important for adults to have an internal medicine physician - your "own doctor" for primary care - who becomes familar with and understands each patient's overall health and medical history. By choosing our internists as your personal physician, we will encourage our patients to develop a long-term relationship with us.
We look forward to greeting all who walk into our practice and hope our reputation will spread throughout the community as the medical facility of choice.
